El Gig, Lily, Natalie and Judy in katheneon

Here is Richard(el Giganto), his daughter Lily, his girl friend Natalie, my wife, Judy, all sitting in a men's cafe(katheneo) in the town of Filippi, with it ancient theater. We were having a dinner before going off to se e an Aristophanes comedy. This was also the night of the England versus Italy soccer match and so all tensions were on high. We sat on the porch with the men playing cards and enjoyed a huge meal of chops, beer and Greek salad. Then off to the play, which was deliciously dirty and, even though it rained, the audience stayed right to the end.
