Christos, Vassou, and grandson Anastas

These are our very oldest friends in Agia Trias. Christos is the Grand Old Man of the family Apostolidis. His grandfather arrived in the village in 1922 from Anatolia. Anastas is nine years old and this was his first night working in the family taverna. CHARLIE was moored in the village after our long trip across the Mediterranean because my wife, Judy and I (and our sons) have spent 35 years vacationing here. They still can't believe that we sailed all the way from Amsterdam in "that little thing."
